Evans Ranch Pride Cattery is a prat of a select group in that we have the distinction of being a "TICA Outstanding Cattery of Excellence." In March, at renewal, HunniPawz will hold that title. To hold that title, our cattery must be inspected by a licensed veterinarian once a year, do continued education, and meet other TICA criteria. We have signed and do follow the TICA Code of Ethics.

We are licensed through PAFCA, the governing agency through the Colorado State Department of Agriculture. This also requires continued education and an inspection at least once per year.
Optimal Selection and UC Davis DNA Testing
Kings and Queens are DNA tested for 40+ genetic health markers to ensure we are breeding cats with the very best genetic health. Our cats do test negative for 3 main health concerns in breeding:
- PK-Def, which causes fatal anemia
- PRA, which causes blindness
- HCM, which cases heart failure
HunniPawz gives a written 5-year genetic health guarantee for your assurance that you will be receiving a healthy, genetically well-bred, pedigreed cat.
Cats/Kittens Receive Regular Vet Well Checks and Are Immunized
Cats/Kittens receive regular wellness checks and are immunized once they reach at least 3# and are weaned. They are immunized for everything, including Feline Leukemia, to protect them when they leave our cattery. They are given one last well check just prior to leaving our cattery. We are a FIP, FIV and FeLV free facility.
Cats/Kittens Are Well Socialized
The kittens and cats are a part of our home and exceptionally well socialized to people and other animals. They are not caged and get plenty of snuggle time every day.
Our cats are highly intelligent. We make sure that they have enough to do each day in a way that fancies their curiosity and promotes the exercise they require.
