About Us and Our Cattery!

We're thrilled you've found your way to our website, and want to welcome you to HunniPawz Cattery, a Honeybeez, LLC company, where every whisker counts! We're eager to assist you in finding your newest family member.

Nestled on the picturesque Western Slope of Colorado, just outside the charming community of Montrose, HunniPawz is more than just a cattery—it's a heartfelt venture owned by Christine Evans (Kris), and supported by her more than dedicated daughter, Laura. Our journey began with Laura and Kris' husband Ted's vision in Western Nebraska in 2018 before relocating to Colorado in mid-2020.

Though our journey has had its challenges, including the loss of Ted, we remain dedicated to fulfilling our vision of breeding not only gorgeous cats, but cats with beautiful temperaments, bread for their genetic health and diversity. 

At HunniPawz, every member of our family plays a vital role. From Kris overseeing the business side of the cattery to Laura nurturing our mamas and babies, each cat and kitten receives the love and attention they deserve. Our dedication to their well-being extends to their socialization with people and other pets, ensuring they grow up happy and confident.

We take pride in our breeding program, carefully selecting Bengal and Ragdoll cats from around the world for their genetics, diversity, temperament, and beauty. As we've grown, we've expanded to develop our own lines, maintaining the highest standards of care and quality.

Our commitment to our cats' health is unwavering. Under the care of licensed veterinarians specializing in reproductive health, they receive the best possible care. We go above and beyond to create an enriching environment with hands-on nurturing; having stimulating play grounds and toys; and allowing our cats to be an integral part of our home, and not confined to cages.

In our research, we've discovered practices that optimize the health and well-being of our kittens, including holding them until 16 weeks for proper socialization and immunization. We prioritize their nutrition, crafting balanced meals from top-quality organic ingredients to give them the best start in life.

While we don't expect you to replicate our homemade meals at home, we're happy to share our recipe and provide samples of other nutritious options. It's all part of our commitment to ensuring your feline companion thrives.
